A garden is a planned space, usually outdoors, set aside for the display, cultivation, or enjoyment of plants and other forms of nature. Plants are trimmed and pruned in various ways and are organized by hedges and fences. This purposeful arrangement bears witness to human’s desire to overcome and dominate nature. This is humanity’s desperate attempt to stand against nature and a reminder of the transience of human life.
