Kimiya Mirzaei (b. 1998, Tehran, Iran) is currently studying Editing in the Faculty of Cinema and Theater of Tehran University of Art. Her work has been included in one group exhibition. She lives and works in Tehran.

The works of this series are part of my practice of encountering surfaces and materials. It is all about my exploration of the capacities of painting. In the initial works of the series, I focused on observing. In my recent works, however, I concentrated on the very act of painting.
