1. White roses are also associated with honor and respect, thus they are also used for commemoration. On the one hand, white roses signify love, death, and innocence, and on other hand, they are used for conveying secret codes without words during wars.
2. Like other calamities, wars make the times more acceptable, clutching the throats of those who desire it, and when it becomes fatal, there will be no escape. Ironically, wars bring out man’s most remarkable vices and virtues: courage, cruelty, self-forgetfulness, loyalty, and even self-sacrifice.
3. In the 1970s, conventions and treaties were signed concerning the involvement of children in armed conflicts. Nonetheless, reports show the extensive recruitment of children in wars.
