To me, nature is always an immediate experience. I can vividly recall plants, birds, and places that had been their haven. By remembering these images, however, they become shrouded in obscurity every time, which distorts the images. The places that have shaped me and been formed by me are gradually fading into the dust. The works intend to invite the audience to once again watch and touch; a space that is one of the most outstanding manifestations of the natural world. It even possesses a healing power. In the meantime, nature itself, as a direct experience, is gradually being removed from our lives. What remains is a mere image on paper.
