Neža Knez (b. 1990, Ljubljana, Slovenia) graduated from the Department of Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, University of Ljubljana. In 2017, she obtained her MFA from the same institution under the mentorship of Professor Jože Barši. She has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Slovenia and abroadShe has received several awards, including the highest recognition summa cum laude (2017) for her master’s thesis.

Just unattainable is real.
If language leads us away from experience, how do we get there? How do we find the shape of searching itself? A style which doesn’t know yet for itself how it is shaped and heard, before it recognizes its senses?
Only through distanced words, can we evoke (a)more. Love is an experience of the world or situation and we can get there with the awareness that it exists Other. Not a relationship, but the production of truth. They are always two: air ( ) mountain, fire ( ) ash.., which produce the truth — Unattainability.
