Tajesar Jafari

Tajesar Jafari (b. 1955, Ardabil, Iran) got married when she was fifteen years old and moved to Bandar-e Anzali. It took her 50 years to discover her artistic talent. She used to weave carpets and her artworks are formed in line with rug weaving. Now after 15 years of constant effort, her works have been displayed in a number of solo and group shows, having been presented in Outsider Art annual exhibition since its third edition. She currently lives and works in Bandar-e Anzali. (Her body of works, according to the Outsider Art, is categorized as self-taught).
