Emad Anoshirvani (b. 1991, Mashhad, Iran) has been working in printing industry for some ten years. “Machine no. 2” is a work that he has made for his “Machine” series.
Because of my job print supervisor, I am constantly dealing with different types of printing machines. Thousands of papers for books, magazines, and posters are printed without being read: they are merely printed. Meantime, I have always wondered why the level of awareness is generally low despite all the data and information that are produced every day. I have a feeling that the information has been manipulated or censored: some parts are highlighted while others are completely deleted.
This work is about a text that was not seen, read, and interpreted at the right time.
