There are photographs in this series that I have manipulated with “data processing software,” and that is where their general similarity stems from.
When I go on a journey or leave my everyday living space, the awareness of my surroundings decreases, and thus the subject-matters of my photographs change accordingly.
Sometimes I almost see these photos as postcards.
With this machine, which is similar to a kaleidoscope, the pictures are repeated and rotated vertically and horizontally, thus their real and virtual images are switched: similar to what happens in my mind.
