“Return”
The “Return” series started by reading a piece of news about migrants in Turkey who accused the Greek police of beating and forcing them to strip off in a freezing no-man’s land on the border. Frustrated bodies that have been through a lot to realize their dreams. I identify myself with each one of them, imagining the moment in which I realize I cannot afford to have a dream anymore: I have to give it up and go back. In the meantime, there is no home to return to and there is no utopia on the other side of the rainbow.
