Fatemeh Khodabandeh (b. 1943, Lavasan, Iran) started making dolls with stone and cloth as a child. After a long hiatus (nearly seventy years), she started making dolls again two years ago. In fact, rheumatoid arthritis and inflammation of the joints of her hands made her take up the activity again and she fixed herself doing it instead of physiotherapy. The is her first presence in Outsider art Annual Exhibition. Khodabandeh lives and works in Lavasan, (Her body of works, according to the Outsider Art, is defined as the Self-taught Art.)
