Babak Shariati

Babak Shariati (b. 1989, Tehran, Iran) spent his childhood in Shahroud. He worked as a teenager in a goldsmith’s studio. His abstract paintings are directly related to his formative years of activity in the goldsmith workshop, and the influence of nature and plants in recent years have gradually been showing in his paintings. Shariati lives and works in Someh Sara. (His body of works, according to the Outsider Art categories, is defined as Self-taught Art.)
