Majid Biglari (b. 1986, Tehran, Iran) earned his BA in Sculpture from Tehran University of Art. He has exhibited his work in solo and group shows in Iran and abroad. Biglari’s solo shows include “Border,” Mohsen Gallery, Tehran, 2016; “The Feast of the Day of No Return,” Aaran Gallery, Tehran, 2014; and “Being in Your Life,” Aaran Gallery, Tehran, 2013. Among his many group shows, the most recent ones are “Episode 01: Prolongation,” Mohsen Gallery, Tehran, 2016; “Doré-hami” with NMAG’s 9th Pop-Up Gallery in Amstterdam, 2016; and “Portraits: Reflections by Emerging Iranian Artists,” Rogue Space, New York, 2014. In 2016, Biglari displayed two installations, “Regarding the Pain of Others” at Pasio, Mohsen Gallery and “Shades of Grey and Irrelevant Information,” at TMoCA as a part of the 7th Edition of Tehran National Sculpture Biennial. He lives and works in Tehran.
