Iman Safaei (b. 1982 Tehran, Iran) is an Iranian graphic designer, curator, and conceptual artist. His extensive oeuvre consists of various media and materials including concrete, metal, neon, print, and found objects. Safaei’s works have been included in a number of private collections. One of his iron sculptures is acquired by LACMA (Los Angeles County Museum of Art) for its permanent collection. His works has been shown in several art fairs, biennials as well as numerous solo and group exhibitions in Iran, Europe, and the US. Safaei has worked as a graphic designer and art director for various art galleries. In 2008, he was selected as the best artist at the Iranian Graphic Design Yearbook Exhibition as well as the 4th Iranian Typography Exhibition. Safaei has been a member of IGDS (Iranian Graphic Designers Society) between 2005 and 2011. He lives and works in Tehran.
